What is ultralight aviation?

This is a small aircraft, very light (like indicated by its name), and equipped by a motor. They are accessible for those who have a license. This small plane is easy to control and offers certain liberty to its users. They can practice on aerodromes, private terrains or in plain nature. This is the only downside: it cannot carry more than 2 people at the same time.

What material do you need for ultralight aviation?

Devices

Before launching it is essential to verify the security of your equipment. The ultralight aviation is verified by professionals. The radio must be in a perfect state. Each user must wear a protection helmet counterpart that also allows communication. A parachute is of course also in the plane and verified before each trip.

Equipment to use

If you are going to fly in an ultralight aviation this winter, the altitude will provoke a cold feeling that’s much stronger than on the ground. You should thus cover yourself well to resist the extremely low temperatures. The shoes need to be warm (preferably stuffed) and high to the calves. You should not hesitate to wear many layers of clothes. A windbreaker and insulating pants are essential. Please pay attention that you can still move freely.

Ultralight aviation passes in the mountains

These magical flights are of course accessible with a pass but the prices differ according to the resorts. In general, for a first flight of 20 minutes, it should cost €80. For a first lesson of 40 minutes, it will cost around €250.
