Booking at the right moment
Like all journeys by plane it is important to anticipate finding tickets at interesting prices and to start organizing. Insofar possible, book three months before the preferred date or wait until you have your vacation dates.
From the airport to the resort
Depending on the resort you have chosen for your stay, you will have several ways to get to the resort: shuttle, or taxi. It is not advisable to rent a car as it will not be very useful once at the station.
Organize well before boarding
Like all plane journeys it is important to organize well to win time, especially when travelling with family. Think about checking in on the airplane’s website the day before: this way you only have to check in your luggage once you arrive at the airport. Keep the printed tickets with you as well as an ID.
Rest and relax
To have a pleasant plane journey, think of resting and relaxing. We do not always realize it but travel is very tiring: between the crowd at the airport, the waiting times, boarding,… it is important to take some time without hustle. Don’t hesitate to arrive one and a half to two hours before take-off to have a cup of coffee and rest before getting onboard.
Profit from the flight time to plan your stay
Once you’re in the air, profit from it to anticipate all the little things that take time like planning your days, the list of things to buy once you’re there, prepare the contact information of your company, etc.
Activities for the kids
For your flight, think of providing fun activities for the kids: a film on the tablet, music to listen to or coloring books do the trick! Encourage them to take a good nap so they can profit most from the slopes and snow.
Provide relaxing activities
For adults, we must not deprive ourselves of relaxing activities that can pass the time: you can watch some episodes of the new popular series, listen to a playlist or play some brain games.
The unavoidable board games
If you travel with your friends, don’t hesitate to take a board game with you like cards or pocket size board games. They have the advantage that they don’t take place, you can keep them in cabin luggage and you can use them again in the resort next to a fire.
