Cauterets: one resort, two ski domains

The Cauterets resort is not typical because it includes two ski domains:

The Alpine ski domain consists of 21 slopes and 3 freestyle zones. It is on this domain that lovers of cascades of all forms can explore their talent thanks to the Oakley Cauterets Park, special zone dedicated to freestylers offering abundant snow and modules.

Domain dedicated to Nordic activities like cross-country skiing, racquet tours and toboggan. This domain has 36,5 km of cross-country slopes (5 tracks) between woods and plateaus, 6 km of marked trials (for walking and racquets), a toboggan slope entirely fitted for 4 alpine ski slopes (1 red, 1 blue and 2 green) with 3 lifts.

In the resort, beginners of winter sport find 4 ski schools to learn the basics or try out new disciplines (snowboard, off-piste ski, etc.)

Different infrastructures are especially there for children to let them have incredible memories of their ski stay: kindergarten, center for fun, play area, mini-club.

The emphasis is on relaxation

Cauterets is known for being a thermal resort. Known for its thermal spas for respiratory problems, the resort allows you to discover that you can forget stress from the whole year with the help of thermal water. Also present in the resort is a wellness center that offers face and body care, massages and hydro baths for even more relaxation.

Concerning thermal activities, Cauterets has nothing to be ashamed of because it welcomes big sports and cultural events during the whole season:

– The International Free Ride Film Festival

– Numerous workshops for children

– Cultural visits

– Music
